The cork was a cheap home winemakers type, and the bottle contained what appeared to be a standard ruby port.
. I hope you got some pictures of it? I'd love to see what it looked like. And very sad, nothing worse than this happening at a large tasting...been there done that (The Croft tasting in Boston). I say the person who bought this needs to track down the offender and take care of business*
