Still a dark ruby center. Smells of cola. A soft palate of old wood, tea leaves, and some light spices/spearmint, and light tannins on the finish. Some heat, cedar and a slightling clipped finish. This bottle is showing pretty advanced (Which Dirk said isn't representative), though it got better as the evening wore on.
