1970 Niepoort Vintage Port

Both bottles referenced here were the taller "normal" style bottle and not the more common short squat bottle. Darker in color than the 1977 Niepoort VP. With a nose of sweet cola and tobacco. Licorise, dates, spices, wisps of tobacco, and solid tannins and acidity continue through into the finish. A well showing bottle but the bottle opened last night showed even better.
