Unfiltered with a regular cork. Bottled in 2009;opened about 4-5 hours before first taste. Upon opening wafts of blueberry--quite a strong aroma. No sediment, regular cork. Color a deep magenta. Nose is still berry dominant. Taste is dark berry--blackberry and elderberries. Touch of eucalyptus. Slight spicy on moderate finish, slightly tannic--finishes nicely and contrasts well with the dark berries up front. Fruity, but not overwhelmingly so. Might be nice to cellar a few to see what happens; a good LBV with a good QPR (paid $19 with tax).

Yes, it is unfiltered. States in clearly on the label. I"m amending my original post.
