Rocha Glorious 50th (A blend of 1937, 1957, 30 and 10 year tawnies)
Orange with yellow and tinge of red.
Deep aromas of butterscotch and toffee
Quite unctuous and round in the mouth, low acidity, somewhat alcoholic, orange, vanilla,
anise, slightly cloying. Tasty, good, chewy, but not a re-buy at $42 per .375. Perhaps this has seen better days. (7 years since bottling) 89-90 pts.

A good note and the last couple times I've had this I've thought the same as you, in that it has seen better days. Don't get me wrong, it's still a nice Port. However, it's no longer in the same league as it was when first released. A good example of what may happen when a tawny is stored in bottle for too long.

Good point, Andy. It actually perked up more on night 2, seeming a bit more balanced...
