Part of a mini-vertical of three Quinta do Portal LBVs made at my cottage during the summer with family and friends.
Decanted 2 hrs. Very little sediments. Medium dark red colour with a hint of purple. Fresh, pleasant aroma with a touch of minerals. Full body. Elegant, smooth, powerful in a pleasant way, full of nice fruit. Medium length in aftertaste. The winner of that evening’s 2004 / 2005 / 2007. 93 pts.
