1963 Casa do Douro White Colheita Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Bottled 2004. Lagrima style. Some grainy sediment, pale amber in colour with a green rim; 10% opaque. Slight VA on the nose, bringing butterscotch angel delight. Sweet, but with a strong and ripe acidity. Full bodied, with concentrated kumquat flavour. Brown sugar on the aftertaste, and a long sugary finish. Better than expected, but very sweet. 82 points
