1970 Cockburn Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Firm red colour, nice centre. Spicy nose, with lots of VA. Sweet impact, with a dry follow up. Very dry and fierce mid-palate that is tainted by the VA. Dry aftertaste, long charcoal finish that ends with sweet and delicate Turkish Delight. Not showing quite right. 86 points
