1966 Croft Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Not Known - Deep red, slightly cloudy; 60% opaque. Concentrated ribena and an odd sage tone on the nose. Sweet and nicely balanced entry; subtle redcurrant and cranberry flavours grows to big levels. Great texture. The aftertaste is a combination of spicy sage and sour, stalky cranberry. A long length; very sweet. Probably at its peak. A shade too heavy and dense. 89 points
