NV Cruz White Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - From Franprix. Golden straw colour, 5% opaque. Barley-sugars and vanilla extract on the cloying nose. Hollow entry with little flavour on the palate but a reasonable balance between sweetness and acidity. Dried apricots show on the long finish, but these turn into an unpleasant waxiness. Not as bad as was expected. 69 points
