1985 Delaforce Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - A marked change in colour between this relatively dark 1985 and the older vintages shown alongside. Deep red, 50% opaque and still looking a little youthful. A bit smelly on the nose and surprisingly youthful. Youthful, unknitted impact, lots of acidity but surprisingly resolved tannins. The fruit comes trhough strongly but late on the palate. Surprisingly light overall. 84 points
