2007 Niepoort Crusted Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Bottled 2007; blended principally from 2003, with a little 2005. Deep red, solid centre that is just beginning to lighten on the rim. Limited showing on the nose. Soft, silky texture and firm tannins give a lovely mouth presence with lots of dark cherry fruit. Firm tannins on the aftertaste, then a lovely fruit and chocolate length. 91 points
