1963 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port

Decant: 3½ hours - UK bottled, but by an unknown bottler. Deep in colour, as dark as the 1985. Sharp nose and ripe tannins. Gentle acidity on the palate, nicely balanced but slightly too acidic. Light bodied on the palate, and a little disjointed. Gently raisined and with creamy milk chocolate. Lingering, delicate fnish; gently flavoured with a soft honey and lemon finish. 86 points
