Decant: 48 hours - Restrained and gentle nose; plenty of fresh pine needles and crushed blackcurrants. Acidity shows strongly, swamping the fruit and making the palate uncomfortable. A second sip shows more fruit, but a touch thin and light. Hot aftertaste, dry tannins and long finish of dried blackcurrants. 87 points
