Decant: 1 hour - Bottled by Justerini & Brooks.
Brick red in colour, slightly hazy, 30% opaque. Fabulous nose, lifting and gorgeous. Full of spiced fruit, mace and candied cherries - really Christmassy! Balanced, slightly hollow entry; a vague hint of rosemary or pine needles just starting to appear. The mid-palate is rich and flavoursome, with gentle brown sugar and golden sultanas. Lovely long finish with an aftertaste dominated by a soft, peaty single malt. very fine port! 93 points
