NV Berry Brothers William Pickering 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Just Opened - Produced by Quinta do Noval for Berry Brothers & Rudd. Mature red coloir, 30% opaque. Full of marzipan on the nose with lots of candied cherries, very pronounced. Sweet marzipan comes through on the palate, with a lovely combination of figs and walnuts. Good balance, with lovely soft flavours enveloping the palate. Dry tannins show very gently on the very sweet palate, before a long and gentle finish of match heads and sulphur. 84 points
