TN: 1846 Leacock Terrantez Vintage Madeira

Bottled 1950. Dark, similar to CG. Lovely peach and apricot nose, intensifying with time. Fruity taste dominated by peaches. Excellent acidity. Long balanced finish. Nose 19, taste 18.5 with total score 18.5/19. After 4 hours, fading with score 17.5. Same flavors as Cossart Gordon, but less intense and a little less well balanced. It should be noted that Mannie Berk and the group chose this as their favorite 1846. (3/12).
