TN: 1890 D'Oliveira Verdelho Vintage Madeira

Very dark. Toffee, slightly herbal, molasses nose. Medium sweet, less than 1905. Figs, herbs. Good acidity and moderately long finish. Initially 17, but after 3 hours it filled out, became richer, and finish lengthened. 18.5/20. (3/07). Bottled 1980s according to Mannie Berk.
