Opened on Friday evening and now finishing it off two days later. Primary black plums, eucalyptus, and moderate tannins earlier on with a touch of spirit later. The chocolate becomes quite prominent toward the moderately long finish. The youthfulness of this is still causing it to show a bit rough around the edges at times, but a good sign for this to become a nice mid-term ager. This showed best today, two days after opening, and I look forward to coming back to this over the next 15+ years.
