1992 Andresen Colheita Port

Post by Miguel Simoes »

Highlight is the length, which is comparable to the Andresen 20 yr. The mid-palate isnt as rich though, and the flavors not as complex.

Priced about right. Certainly better than your average 10 Year Tawny, but not quite to the level of your typical 20 Year.

I so wish I could get their Ports where I live. They do make some wonderful Tawny's.

Andy, I recently picked up a few bottles of the Andresen 20 year tawny in Van Nuys at Big Hammer Wines. I can check, but I believe they were bottled in 2007.

It is a warehouse location, not a retail store per se, but you can pick wine up there for a small will-call fee, if you don't want to ship. It is best to deal with them by phone.

Good tip from SP!
