Never saw this brand on shelves before--only bottle this B&M shop had. The bottle was dusty, so it must have been there awhile. Bottled 2006--retro label (paint stencil)
Opened and decanted about 8 hours. No comment on label if filtered or not--not taking a chance I decanted and it threw off quite a bit of fine sediment. Magenta color, lighter red rim--appears nicely aged. Nose gives stewed fruits (nice). Quite piquant, grapefruit start, thin viscosity. Moderate spiciness..Touch of black pepper. Had a lot of different and distinct flavors: brambleberry (red but not too sweet berry), the pepper and spice, the grapefruit, yet overall, it came off well balanced. Moderate finish. Much better than I expected.
