1955 Kopke Colheita Port

Post by Eric Menchen »

375ml bottle, bottled 2009. Aromas of lots of old, dried fruit, and hard candy. Dried rose petal too? Sweet potpourri, faint licorice. Buttery too. Fairly warm with leather and spice, and raisins.

A very rare bottle.

So, did you like it?

Yes I did, quite a bit. But alas, I didn't score it at the time. From memory, 92-94?

Actually, although I enjoyed the descriptors, I was not sure from your note if you really liked it or not (score aside). [friends.gif]
