1963 Adams Vintage Port
Interestingly, the cork was branded “Carvalhas.” The color was a medium tea with a nose of licorice, dried flowers, and oranges. The soft and sweet palate up front slid into tobacco leaf, licorice, spices, and citrus zest. With the spices arriving later than the rest. A enjoyable medium length finish rounded out a slightly past mature VP, but still holding on. Based on this bottle I’d say drink soon.
