1972 Taylor Quinta de Vargellas

Post by Eric Menchen »

Fruit and vegetable! This has something of a canned fruit salad character--oxidized fruit with a metallic hint. It is pretty nice in the mouth, although not entirely complex. Fairly warm in the finish. 91 points.

A vintage one doesn't see much of at all these days. I was surprised by this one and it's much much better than a certain other undrinkable 1972, Offley.
