1977 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: 2 hours - From magnum. Mature red-mahogany; 50% opaque. VA dominating the nose, but not to offensive levels. Perfumed palate on entry, infused with the effect of the VA. Lovely chocolate aftertaste, big and tannic length. Modest, mature and enjoyable but not quite right. 89 points
