1920 Fonseca Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Lovely deep red, dark orange rim. Attractive nose, a hint of juniper - quite a savoury tone. Some gentle dark espresso, big and powerful on the palate. Very dense, very concentrated with big, concentrated black chocolate and juniper berries on the palate. The finish is big and long, starting as juniper and eventually finishing as burnt marmalade. Very impressive. Served blind this was guessed to be Dow 1945. 94 points
