Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Bottled 2012. Also used as a component in the 40 year old tawny blend. 6 casks of this port have been bottled as the 1969 single harvest tawny.
Honey brown in colour, 10% opaque. Clover honey nose with a cutting acidity on entry, accompanied by elegant spun sugar and sweetened grapefruit that has a twist of marmalade. Another burst of acidity on the aftertaste, then a long finish with big burnt sugar and lime marmalade. 94 points
