1963 Morgan Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 5½ hours - Attractive red, but not deeply coloured; 40% opaque. Freshly crushed raspberries on the nose; sweet and dusty on the palate. Not a lot of fruit on the palate, just dusty library books. Lots of air starts to release some heat and aromatics and makes the wine more attractive, becoming quite fragrant. A nice sweet capiscum and ground pepper on the persistent finish. Very pleasant. 90 points
