Decant: 3 hours - English bottled by Justerini & Brooks, Bailey & Co. Cork branded Quinta do Noval Vintage 1931. Dark red / brown, decanted through muslin and a little cloudy making it opaque. Roast coffee beans on the nose, but the nose is not well developed.Rich candied cherries dominate the early impact; thick, rich and mouthfilling on the midpalate with a real cut from the acidity. A huge aftertaste then a very, very long finish. A super, super wine - even more concentrated than the 1927 shown alongside. 100 points
