1960 Sandeman Vintage Port

Decant: 14 hours - Lightly coloured, mature red with a rose rim; 50% opaque. Alcoholic nose, fruit a touch dirty. Sweet entry, lots of caramel with a little red fruit - sweet but peppery. Lovely balance, slightly hot. Hot aftertaste, sticky on the earthy finish then a long finish full of gentle rosemary. Long, length. Very good port. Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1963. 93 points
