1963 Taylor Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 4½ hours - Light orange colour with a hint of brown on the rim; 15% opaque. Gentle nose, attractive but not much fruit over the heat. Soft entry with little immediate fruit; hot on the mid-palate. Jelly bean flavours develop on the late palate. Hot aftertaste with a very peppery bite. Heat lingers into the finish before a dry length with gentle chocolate tannins. 88 points
