1980 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: Not known - Intense colour, very dark, wery red and opaque. Subdued nose, still showing some youthful blackcurrant. Dense and packed on the palate. Full of fruit and with lots of charcoal tannins. Delicious palate - closed but with so much potential. Big aftertaste, heat on the finish. This is a real brooding monster with a big finish. Served blind this was guessed to be Fonseca 1992. 92 points
