Decant: Not Known - Very deep red, an astonishing 80% opaque. Smelling to be in early maturity with modest fruit and crushed beech nuts. Lovely texture on the palate, with lovely balance. Sweet maraschino cherries supported by surprisingly persistent dry tannins. Big on the aftertaste, huge length dominated by black chocolate. Really good, a fine addition to a cellar. 94 points
