First day: No decant, just pop and pour, this wine showed really nice. Lots of dark fruit, coffee and herbs, I taste also some sweet red fruits like strawberries. It's a bit cloying, but not disturbing. The aftertaste is medium. It developed over a few days more into dark fruit, coffee, dark chocolate and licorice (I never tasted this before). But it stays fresh and the aftertaste is nice.
This is not going to turn up in my top 10 and I prefer the 1987 Graham and Taylor over this one. But nevertheless a nice VP.
