This tasting note is based on consuming two magnum bottles at two different occasions this year.
Decanted 3 hrs split into two decanters making it easier access for the air. Some sediments and sieving is necessary. Dark red colour with a clear tone of brown. Deep complex aroma of minerals, oak, forest soil and berries. Medium to full body. Quite heavy taste like in old style Douro reds. Decanting of minimum 3 hrs is necessary in order reduce the impression of the acid. Oak is clearly there, but still acceptable. Powerful taste, but not enough fruit. A demanding wine that in my opinion needs meat as companion at dinner. 89 pts.
