Which producers don't get talked about much on FTLOP?

Post by Andy Velebil »

What Portuguese producers (Port/Madeira/wine) do you enjoy that don't seem to get much "love" here on FTLOP or other wine forums? By "love" I mean don't get talked about much or at all on various wine forums?

Tedo and Portal are two that come to mind.

Agree with Tedo----but I also never see it in stores, auctions, or even on-line. Just a few stores in the USA have it and they're almost all on the west coast.

Portal is over looked. I'm usually happy with their ports (Have a new LBV of theirs I'd like to try soon).

I'd say that Ferreira as well as Ramos-Pinto come to mind as larger producers that aren't really discussed much.
