10 year old tawny Port by Delaforce His Eminence's Choice

Post by John Danza »

I picked up a bottle of the Delaforce 10yr tawny on Saturday night at "55-Degree" in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. It was the only reasonably priced port in a VERY overpriced wine store. Here's my thoughts on the wine: Light in color and texture. A bit high-toned from the spirits. The sweetness is good, however the wine has a dry finish. Overall, I would rate it an 83. I wouldn't go out of my way to acquire this wine, however it did fine in my need for "any port in a storm" (no pun intended).

All the best,
John

Hi John,
I've not tried any form of Delaforce Port yet. But your comments are interesting to note!
I'll keep an eye open. :)
