Andy - am I still okay with tpettinger??? I tend to try to sign off all my posts with my First name.
Uhmm... If I wanted my first name to be added to the user name, it would hence, change my user name, would it not?? :?
I do know why the rant though... i have on occasion went to respond to posts and NOT remembered which first name was attached to a username if neither are posted in the publicly-viewable profile.

Profile: an improvement
Well, at last, the software allowed me to make some changes to my profile (though a pop-up asked me for which user, giving two choices: “jdaw1” and “jdaw1” — I chose “jdaw1”).
But it isn’t clear how or where I add a real name: it doesn’t seem to want to let me change my multi-website handle of — you guessed — “jdaw1”. (If you forget my name, just call me, well, you can surely guess.)

The long-named ID hasn’t logged in for ages
I have been. The long-named ID hasn’t logged in for ages — I think it was one of those mystery ID bifurcations a year or so ago. E.g., I am logged in with the ID that posted this.

No, i actually need to log in twice to keep up with all of you nuts!
I have two admin profiles that I am in the process of merging - no, it's not related to synch but from our initial setup of the forum.
Ronnie - can you email me at [email protected] with your request and user names and I'll be happy to fix it for you.
