A bottle purchased by Alan C in Portugal a few weeks ago. The small cork crumbs floating on the top of the wine were an interesting garnish

No note taken so this bit is from memory. Nice weight and texture. Very dark and young looking. In terms of taste all I can really remember is a slightly overwhelming tanic dryness.

Gorgeous. Nice weight, slightly chewy. Masses of big black fruits and still retains some of that tanin. Lovely mouthwatering finish.
I think this is a wine with a great life ahead of it. If you have some of these I would suggest that you keep them and remain patient for a few years. This is a great wine waiting to happen.
Score: 7-8
