2001 Quinta do Vale Dona Maria LBV Port

Another one that I had a chance to open, and just enjoy rather than dissecting for a tasting note. The most significant impression of this wine was it's extreme youthfulness. Dense, bright fruit dominated, with a very "thick" mouthfeel. I think that this one would be good to hold for several years to provide for additional integration, but it is great now for a young tasting port.

I don't recall anyone else indicating that they had had this one when I posted on finding it in a local shop. At $25, I would buy a couple more bottles to hold for some time.
