2000 Quinta do Noval Silval Vintage Port

Post by Bjørn Tore Aastorp Ruud »

Great cherry fruit and violets.
Very good concentration and intense flavors. Very good structure.

This will be great wine stored 10-15 years.

Bjorn,

Just out of curiosity sake, what does a bottle like this cost today in Norway?

I agree that is a fine bottle, especially for a "2nd label" of Noval!

Thanks for your posting!

Roy.
I thought we were not going to post replies in this forum? :D

Anyway, this wine costs 64 usd. in Norway.

Is that expensive? What is the price "over there"?

Bjorn,

The more I thought about it, I thought it was a dumb idea and saw no reason to clutter the FTLOP Forum with a 2nd post on the exact same wine on a different part of the Forum, just to discuss it.

IF/WHEN we build user searchable TN database, I think it is more pertinent to have the discussions attached to the original thread so only one search is necessary. That is my story and I'm sticking to it. To see the original "modification" to the TN regs, please see the first post in this Forum.

Hello Roy.
Just having an Estremadura wine now, rustic actualy and would be great with the rustic food of Portugal.
I agree that the postings on Tns is ok, or yes we have to post twice to discuss them.

I ordered some ports the other day that I never saw before in Norway, I will make a report for you when tasted. I will pick up the Andresen Ruby also.

Why dont you join my winesite, would be an honour to have you as a member?

Are you going to make a Food & Port forum?

Obrigado.
Best Regards
