Smith Woodhouse LBV Port 1995 unfiltered, bottled in 1999 c.24€
This has become one of my favourite "cheaper" Ports - even though I often have a hard time understanding the LBV genre. The nose shows a dark fruit character with some herbal and savoury notes of earth and a pleasant, fresh lift to the nose (touch of VA?). The palate is sweet and opulent, but again has a touch of herbal savouryness to keep it from becoming cloying. The aftertaste if of moderate length. Very nice stuff!

Otto,
I agree, this is one of my favorite QPR LBV's also.
