Tasted immediately after opening, no time for decanting and without taking notes so I'm relying on memory here.
Beautiful light brown/orange colour with a bit of sediment in it which made it lightly clouded. Quite strong nose with a lot of alcohol. Taste was wonderful with strong alcohol and a lovely sweetness combined with the depth of a well aged colheita, although I believe I've had more complex colheitas.
One downside was however a sharp acidity which seemed to increase over the short time I had it in the glass (30 min). That did unfortunately spoil it a bit for me since I thought it was too dominant. Finish not too strong, but lingered in the back of the mouth for maybe 10-15 seconds.
The bottle was bought maybe five years ago for around US $120 but with a current asking price of $540 I'm not sure I'd go for this one again.
