1977 Dow's Vintage Port

12 hour decant. High shoulder fill. In superb condition. Perfect match to a rich, not too sweet, tiramisu! :) 93 points

You're luck on the good showing of this vintage. There's a lot of bottle variation with Dow '77. I have been hesitant to buy more of this vintage and recently turned down a case at $500 [help.gif]

Sounds like a great bottle. 1977 Dow is *very* good from good bottles and your's sounds fine. [cheers.gif]

I love when that happens and while I have had a few that were corked, the vast majority I've been a part of were also outstanding. Glad you liked this. As David mentioned, when they are in top form, it is a beauty. I wish I could still find them at $34 like they were at one time.
