1985 Offley Boa Vista Vintage Port

Probably the best bottle of this wine I've had. The color is still deep red. The palate is sweet with good fruits but a bit of alcohol heat. A very nice wine if available for a good price. I would drink this wine within the next 5-7 years for the most pleasure. (90 pts.)

I've had this on a handful of occasions and would agree with your note and I find it best to consume inside of five hours of opening, due to the minty and spirity nature of this Port. That characteristic becomes more "problematic" the longer this Port is open, imo. Nice but an "also ran" in 1985.
