1985 Neipoort Vintage Port

Tasted blind. Darker than #12 (Cockburn), but not as deeply colored as #9 (Fonseca). Like the previously tasted wine (Cockburn), this has some oxidized character, along with some soy sauce, but the aromas are not as pleasant as that one. There is a lot of raisin flavor in the mouth, and an orange citrus tang in the finish. There are also flavors of raspberry mixed with currant jam. 91 points.
