1985 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port

Tasted blind. A lot like the previous wine for color, which is to say ruby brown with good clarity and medium dark. The aroma is musty, musty, dirty shoe leather, stored in the attic. It is not quite as bad in the mouth as the aroma would have lead me to believe, but it isn’t particularly good either. It is tangy and oxidized, overly oxidized with raisins. 87 points.
