Tasted blind. Good red color, with a slight brown tint. This is more red than the previous three tasted wines (1985 Dow, Quinta do Noval, and Morgan). There is a band-aid medicinal aroma, on top of cherry. In the mouth there is fruity red berry and more cherry, along with some faint menthol. 91 points. Later, it was more rotten, and perhaps less deserving of that score.
