1985 Churchill Vintage Port

Tasted blind. Deeper color than the previously tasted wine (1985 Offley), this is fairly dark but with a lot of brown color. The aromas are also darker, dark fruit like raisin and fig, along with some prune and dried pear (not so dark). There is lots of this dark fruit character in the mouth as well, with some cinnamon warmth. Later some VA showed up, but after I had scored this 91 points. (25 Jan 15)
