In general I find that there are not much ports available on airline flights. Presently in Sydney, Australia, on a job-visit.
Big was my surprise when there were ports on Emirates airline both flights Oslo-Dubai and Dubai-Sydney.
Not expected on a Arab-based airline. This tasting note onboard Oslo-Dubai.
Served from half-bottles 37.5 cl. Bottled 2014. Decanting unknown, but most probably nothing at all. Quite dark brown colour. Aroma with a lot of wood, nuts, old cellar and a mix of several types of spices. Full body. At first elegant, then quite powerful (maybe too much). Taste full of nuts, spices and oak. Strong tannins. Medium length aftertaste. 89 pts.
